"Just Do It"

When you think that your life needs to be different, then the change must started with you. So many times, it is very hard to change something that we get used of doing or thinking. But, many times that's what make life stuck from moving forward.

Some people calls it "Comfort Zone" but what if it is not comforting at all? Some might say, well we do it because that is what we know. In other word, we programmed our mind and we trained our body to get use doing something over and over again, whether we like it or not. It is not good for our health mentally, physically and spiritually. Stress caused so much pain and sickness and depression.

People say that when we love our job, we don't feel like working. Yes, but sometimes you need the money and the jobs that comes to you are not exactly something you love, but it pays the bills and lifestyle LOL.

So, what happened when you are trapped in your own world? I think the answers will be varied, due to anyone's opinions, pros and cons. But, NIKE says it best "Just do it" :)

However, in life, we need to learn to stop walking and see where are standing at the moment. If we think we must continue walking on the same road, then go for it. But, when we realize that we have been walking in circle and there has got to be a change in direction to reach our destination, then go on a different road. Many times we get lost and we seek no help. Try to find help. May it be some advices, ideas or just another fresh set of eyes, might help us making decision to chose the path.

When we chose to change direction, it might take a while to get where we wanted, but hopefully it will ended with what we want to accomplished. At least we try and if it does not work, then it is time to chose a different road or maybe different technique. Like they say "Expecting a different result doing the same thing is insanity."

Good luck on your search, walk, process and may we all will be arrived at our destination with a smile on our face. It won't be easy but it is worth the try. Who else is going to change our life if it was not started with "MYSELF?"

You have ONE life to live,
ONE body to take care,
MANY opportunities in life,
DIFFERENT path to choose,
MANY possibilities to gain.
Don't waste your life doing something that you hate.
It is time to make a decision to change and ..
JUST DO IT!

Loyalty

They say that a dog is a man's best friend, and for slain Navy SEAL Jon Tumilson, 35, and his beloved and loyal dog Hawkeye, not even death could break this powerful bond. At his funeral in Rockford on August 19, his beloved canine lay at the foot of Tumilson's casket throughout the ceremony. (For more of this story. please click here)

It is amazing what your dog will show you throughout your lifetime and theirs. I have been an animal lover ever since I was a kid. I always rescue stray cats and have a lot of dogs. My first loyal dog that I mourned when he died was RINGO, a German Shepherd. When he died he laid on the grass by our yard and give me the look of "farewell kid, I'll see you on the other side. I am too sick, but I love you"

Hawkeye, the dog, is one of many dogs who will show us the true meaning of loyalty, friendship, partnership and love. Most of us, human, forget about loyalty. It is an amazing bond between a human and their beloved dog.

RIP J.T, you are forever loved!
HOOYAH!

Chose Love and Let Love Wins Over Evil

Sometimes what seemed to be love was simply just lust.
What blinds us to see the truth?
What makes us able to chose?
Is it reality, pain or maybe a sweet love?

Sometimes what seemed to be the truth was simply a blind faith.
What blinds us to see the truth?
What makes us able to chose?
Is it facts, hopes, or maybe denial?

Sometimes what seemed to be dream comes true was simply a reality of life itself,
We were too blind to see happiness because we did not look at the center of life itself.
We were too scared to step in reality because dream world seems promising,
We were too prideful to chose love over stupidity of a temporary feeling.

What or who comes between you and your happiness must be love and only love,
If its other than love, then let it go!
If its other than love, then it does not worth losing yourself!
If its other than love, then it is pure evil!

Chose love,
Chose life,
Chose wisdom!

Military Working Dogs

“The capability they (Military Working Dogs) bring to the fight cannot be replicated by man or machine. By all measures of performance their yield outperforms any asset we have in our inventory. Our Army (and military) would be remiss if we failed to invest more in this incredibly valuable resource."
- GENERAL DAVID H. PETRAEUS, USA

I was just spending my afternoon browsing the internet and I found this great article about a woman who is trying to help the Military Working Dogs (MWD) health benefit. This is the complete story here and their Facebook page. Please check them out and help them out as well.

Many people don't hear much about this unit in the Police department or the Military. We often hear many stories of the fallen heroes, but very few of us realized that there are other heroes that we forgot. The four legged warriors. They served, protected and saved lives. They work long hours, regardless of the weather, surrounding or when they "don't feel like it" moment. They do their job to obey the handlers, sniffed, and found things that human or machine cannot do. Many of them also helps other troops to cope with loneliness or simply just being a great companion, and bring healing to so many people. They are the Military Working Dogs. They are also heroes!

via

This is BART. He is Killed In Action (KIA) on the Chinook Helicopter last Saturday, alongside with his handler, John Douangdara (visit his Facebook Page). They are both loved in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Rest In God's love sweet Bart. God created you to be man's best friend and you are more than just a friend. You helped saving people's live. You served your purpose in this earth and you are honored. Heroes comes in different shapes and breeds :)

Please take time to click on these links and support them and their handlers. It is important for us to remember that these dogs hold a very important role of saving the troop's lives and others through their service (sniffing bombs, find IED, field interview, chasing "bad people", illegal drugs, being a faithful companion, guarding, patrol, etc).

This is one of my favorite story of Marine Cpl. Dustin Lee and Lex. Click the story in here. Short story about these heroes, Lex is the first active duty, fully fit military working dog to be granted early retirement in order to be adopted. Working for his United States Marine Corps handler Corporal Dustin J. Lee in the Iraq War, he was wounded in an attack that killed Lee, and subsequently awarded an honorary Purple Heart.

This is another great story of Military Working Dog named Dexter. Another MWD's story that always makes me smile and so proud to support these amazing dogs.

Dexter’s full name is Military Working Dog Dexter CO67, but he is now retired after service in Afghanistan. Dexter served for six years, during which time he detected a garbage truck filled with explosives and saved at least a thousand military personnel and civilians. After his tour, he was scheduled to be euthanized because of hip problems and the fact that military dogs are hard to place for adoption because of their aggressiveness. His handler, Kathleen Ellison, went to work to save Dexter through the organization Military Working Dog Adoptions. Veteran Danny Scheurer, who worked with dogs during his military service, agreed to adopt Dexter and bring him home to Spring Grove, Illinois. Dexter also became the first canine member of the American Legion when he was accepted as a full member by Fox Lake American Legion Post 703.

Keep these dogs and their handlers in your heart and prayers as they served us and saving lives. Help in a way that you could. May it be prayers, donation, sending care packages to an organization that is legal and legit, adopt one, support them when they come home.

"War dogs have, indeed, served the nation well and saved many lives. Dogs continue to serve to protect Americans both in combat zones and in homeland security roles."
- GENERAL COLIN L. POWELL, USA (Retired)

Have a wonderful day people. May God bless these heroes and may their sacrifice will never be forgotten. They maybe a dog to you, an animal to some. But, they are heroes to me. They do things that a lot of people will not even think of doing it. Many of us just spend time complaining about the government and do nothing to change it. At least, these dogs do SOMETHING and they give their ALL for this country and the world in so many cases. Remember them, keep them in your heart and prayers. Support them!

"Technology, like the electronic frequency jammers used in Iraq to prevent bombs from being detonated by cell phones or TV remotes, has been successful, but the highest detection rates were still achieved using K-9 units and trained handlers."
- LT. GENERAL MICHAEL L. OATES, USA

Symbolism of Folding the American Flag

The 1st fold of our flag is a symbol of life.

The 2nd fold is a symbol of our belief in eternal life.

The 3rd fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veterans departing our ranks who gave a portion of their lives for the defense of our country to attain peace throughout the world.

The 4th fold represents our weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God, it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in time of war for His divine guidance.

The 5th fold is a tribute to our country, for in the words of Stephen Decaur, "Our Country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right; but it is still our country, right or wrong."

The 6th fold is for where our hearts lie. It is with our hearts that, "We pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States Of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all."

The 7th fold is a tribute to our Armed Forces, for it is through the Armed Forces that we protect our country and our flag against all her enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.

The 8th fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day.

The 9th fold is a tribute to womanhood, and Mothers. For it has been through their faith, their love, loyalty and devotion that the character of the men and women who have made this country great has been molded.

The 10th fold is a tribute to the fathers, for they, too, have given their sons and daughters for the defense of our country since they were first born.

The 11th fold represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies in the Hebrews' eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The 12th fold represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in the Christians' eyes, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The 13th fold, or when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost reminding us of our nation's motto, "In God We Trust."

A Sad Day For The Navy SEALs

Aug. 6, 2011

A helicopter was shot down today by Afghan insurgents as it was rushing to aid troops in a firefight, killing 30 Americans, including 22 Navy SEALs, most of whom belonged to Team 6, the unit whose members were involved in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, U.S. officials said.

The Chinook helicopter was carrying a quick-reaction force to provide back-up to the troops on the ground in the eastern Afghan province of Wardak, a U.S. official said. After the crash, the forces that were involved in the firefight "broke contact" with the enemy so they could go provide perimeter security for the crash site, the official said.
click here for a complete story

That was the news I read and heard yesterday morning. It was a sad week for me, personally, because the day before I just read the news about 10 people killed in a helicopter crashed in my hometown in Manado, North Sulawesi. There were 2 Australian, 2 South Africans, 6 Indonesian and one of them is a Manadonese. The complete story, click here.

I am a proud Navy wife and the news about the death of the 22 Navy Seals, seven members of the Afghan National Army, one dog handler, a military working dog, an interpreter and an unknown number of crew were also on board the downed helicopter, was a hard and sad news. But, there are things that is out of our control as a human. Its hard for us, human, with our limitation, to understand the "why or what" certain things happened in our lives. No matter how smart, rich, powerful we are. We are just a human being and we are limited.

What we can do is to pray for the families and friends who lost their loved ones in these incidents. We can also support the Navy Seal Foundation, click here for more information http://www.nswfoundation.org/

Rest In Peace my heroes! Rest in God's loving arms forever. Please pray for their families as they face the hardest day of their lives. May God gives you all strength, comfort and hope to face tomorrow. One step at a time. God will never forsaken you, family! Words will never be enough to express our love and gratitude for your ultimate sacrifice.

This is one video of one of the Seal who died. Aaron Vaughn, your life and death has blessed me beyond words. Rest In God's arms and embrace His love :)

These are the complete names of those who died. Please do not forget the Afghan's special forces and their families who died alongside with our troops.

but by the men it honors,
the men it remembers"

Got Problem?

"When I cannot read,
when I cannot think,
when I cannot even pray,
I can trust."
(Hudson Taylor)

Sometimes when life is too much to handle, the pain is too unbearable and too complicated to understand the "why" factor, then we feel trapped, lost and alone. Many times we caused our own problems. Sometimes other people caused it and we are in the middle of it. Sometimes it just happened, out of our control, sudden and painful.

When you feel like God is not answering your prayers or is too busy to care for you. When you feel like no one cares. When you don't know how to be alive again. Try to breathe and trusting God. I know it sounds funny, but give God a chance to help you. It is not easy to see God in the midst of your own tears, disappointment and struggling, especially one that caused by those who suppose to love you, care for you or protect you. In some worst cases, there are people who even dare to use god's name for their terrible action. I am sorry for their action and I can assure you, it is NOT God who told them to hurt you, it is their own action that they justified with the word "God."

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8)

...........................And what exactly is love?...................................

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a)

Trusting God does not mean that He will answer things according to what YOU want, but He will help you get through this problem. He will give you what's best for you. It might be hard, too much and hurt for now, but sometimes it is for the best. We do not know what future holds, but He does. We might think what we lost is everything there is in life, but if you trust God to show you what He has for your future, you will be amazed. God has an incredible mind, too complicated for us to understand it. But, He knows best.

Whatever you are dealing right now. I am praying for you and remember, this too shall pass. Stay strong! You have a God who created you, love you for who you are and longing to show you His best options for your life. Just trust Him and let Him show you the reward of your faith.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight(Proverbs 3:5-6)

When the "outsider" influenced your marriage

Lately, some of my very close friends has been dealing with separation, divorce and bitterness with their other half. It is very sad when two people who used to love each other turns into hating each other or chose to stop fight by ending the relationship. Even though I might not agree with divorce, I totally understand why people do that. I am a product of a divorce household. As sad as it might seem, some people are better not to be together in the first place. I have to be honest and say that I wished my parents were getting along well, but they were not. In fact, divorce might be one "good" decision they have ever made. I feel so sinful by saying it.

As a Christian, I am against divorce for sure. But, when your life is in danger of spousal abuse and other things that might make you or your children in danger of losing their lives, then you should seek help. Divorce should and must be the last decision in every marriage. Fight for your marriage, try very hard to make it work and be selfless. It is not a sign of weakness, it takes courage to be humble, in order to win something as important as your marriage.

There are a lot of things that made you realize that you need to end the relationship. It might be because you found a new one (aka cheating lol), comparison with others that seemed and might be better than your marriage, differences, abuse, financial troubles, and a million other excuses and reasons.

One of them that you might or might not realized is the OUTSIDER factors.

Now, let me explain, the insider first. The insider are your spouse and only him/her. Then comes the second layer of insider, your children. The outsiders are your parents, your family, your in laws, friends, co worker, stranger, celebrity and etc.

Don't get me wrong, family and friends are one of the most important people in our lives. But, they can either make you better, break you apart or cheer you to your divorce gates. For some cases it might be good, but for a lot of cases, NOT!

I have heard wives complained about how their in laws are so-very annoying, and too involved in their lives. I have heard husbands who complained of how much the in laws makes their wives turn against him. As funny as it gets, but your family can destroy your own marriage. Be careful and be very wise to filter and judge which information is useful and which are trash.

If you have a great family, thank God! But if you have a family who is more like a dictator than a loving parent, then be careful. Don't let this "outsider" decided whats best for you. Listen to them if they are right, but avoid them if they are trying to break what suppose to be unbreakable.

via google search

A loving family and friends will not want to watch you fall into a deep valley of depression, abuse or never ending hurt. If they are trying to help, they will also do it out of love and respect toward your spouse. They are not the one who is living your marriage life, you and your spouse are, for life.

A loving family and friends will always be there for you. Not just when things are great, the grass are green. They are there when the sky is dark. They suppose to love you and at least show some concern when you are struggling or down in life. Those who showed up when things are great, happy and fun, are those who only love you IF and WHEN things are good. Those are NOT your real family and friends.

They might be related to you, but they do not care about you. Those who were there when you were on top of the mountain and when you are all the way down in the valley, are those who truly loves you and care about you.

I hate it when family judging you based on their own feelings and not facts. I dislike when family member taking credit for something that they were not even care in the first place. You know, the one who THINK they deserve the glory because they are family but NEVER act like one. I found it both funny and annoying.

Next time when you fight with your spouse, ask theses questions in your head:
- What did your spouse do that caused you this fight?
- Who and what influenced you to fight? Is it between the two of you or is it because of other people? including your family and friends!
- What will you gain after this fight is over? It it to become better or worse?
- Is this fight even worth it?

Don't confuse between advice and order. Don't let other people determined your happiness or dictate you how to live YOUR marriage. Some grass are greener, because you do not live there. Some marriage seems better because thats how they wanted you to see it. Everyone has problems in marriage, but not everyone is wise enough to fight for it. Even worst, when you ended your marriage or fight constantly because of the "Outsiders."

Remember, value their opinion, filter it, but don't let them decide or dictate how to live your marriage life.

Parents, RESPECT your children's spouse.

You must let them live their own lives and trust them. Your involvement is needed when asked, but it does not mean you could interfere their lives all the time. On the other hand, be there for your children and their families as a helper that they wanted you to be, not as a "god" who control everything. Some parents still can't believe that their boy or girl is a grown up and is married and is capable to love their spouse. God intended for them to love each other. Human, including family and friends, should not break their love!

Casey Anthony is NOT guilty?!?!

The famous case of Casey Anthony‎. You can read the full story here!

"Moreover, I saw under the sun that in the place of justice, even there was wickedness, and in the place of righteousness, even there was wickedness. I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work." - Ecclesiastes 3:16-17

I am in no position to judge her. I just hope and pray that whoever killed this little girl will be responsible for his/her action in the court of law. Nobody get away with murder, whether its intended or not. It is a sad moment :(

After the trial, people started to think that there should be a law to protect children, like Caylee Anthony. They called it "Caylee's Law" Caylee's Law is the unofficial name for proposed bills in several states that would make it a felony for a parent or legal guardian to fail to report a missing child, in cases where the parent knew or should have known that the child was possibly in danger. The bill was introduced shortly after the Casey Anthony trial, due to Anthony not reporting her two year old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony missing for a period of 31 days.

You should read about it and if you agree with it, then sign the petition to let your voice be heard. You can sign here

Have a great weekend readers :) xoxo
