Your Spouse, Your Best Friend

This could be one of those days that I got sentimental when my husband is not with me.
But, I do think of this a lot.
Yes, we all have our own circle of friends,
those whom we have known for a long time before we met our spouse.
But, there is a special friendship and bond with our spouse that lights up the heart,
a unique friendship.

"Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives,
and do not be harsh with them."
(Colossians 3:18-19)

Our spouse have seen us on our best and our worst,
That is a beautiful thing,
Pain and Joy,
..lol..
At the same time.
UNIQUE
:)

For those who have children,
your children will be leaving your house one day.
It will never change the bond and love that you have with your children,
but they will not be with you
for the rest of your life,
as their focus,
in the same house.
There are things that you can and cannot
share with other people
including your children.
But,
You could always share those secrets
with your spouse.

Your children,
Your joy, pride and love as well.
But,
they will have their own focus,
their own family,
someday!

Your spouse suppose to be your main focus,
Your joy,
Your laughter,
Your life,
Your confidant,
Your partner at all circumstances,
Your forever!

"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."
(Genesis 2:24)

There is one person who will be that 'til death do you part's partner.
Yes, your husband and/or wife will be the one who will always be with you,
even when the children are no longer lives in the same house with you.

So, as much as you love your children, understand that your spouse needs you as well.
You are his/her partner and best friend.
Fulfilled each other's need,
do things that makes you both happy,
with and without kids.
Don't feel guilty to have date nights without the kids,
YOU and YOUR SPOUSE need that time,
just the two of you.

"Haven't you read," he replied,
"that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'
and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
and the two will become one flesh'?
So they are no longer two, but one.
Therefore what God has joined together,
let man not separate."
(Matthew 19:4-6)

May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,

In the palm of his hand."

A girl who reads is a keeper ;)

I enjoy reading ever since I was a little girl.
Reading takes me places,
Reading hides me in my own world,
Reading brings me to an adventure,
Reading makes me feel good,
Reading makes me smarter,
Reading changes my perspective,
Reading changes my mood,
Reading makes me wanted to be a better person,
Reading motivates me to do a lot of things,
Some of them are still unknown,
Reading is mysterious,
Reading is fun,
Reading is wisdom,
Reading is knowledge,
Reading makes me and hubby connected,
Because he loves to read too (he is a keeper!).

I enjoy trips to the libraries,
I enjoy trips to the bookstores,
I enjoy trips to seek knowledge,
I enjoy trips to add wisdom,
I enjoy reading under the tree,
I enjoy reading under my blanket,
I enjoy reading while waiting,
I enjoy reading when I am bored,
I enjoy reading as much as I enjoy music,
Music, books and snacks are my best combo,
I love reading!

I do not know about a lot of things,
Until I read about them,
I do not care about a lot of things,
Until I read about them,
I do not understand a lot of things,
Until I read about them,
I do not think I can do a lot of things,
Until I read about them,
And do it.

If you are not a fan of reading,
I encourage you to start doing it,
Find topics that interests you first,
Then find time to read it,
Then maybe you will fall in love with reading,
But if you do not wanna try,
You might never know.
Seek knowledge and wisdom,
Through reading,
Experiences,
And adventures in life.

"A man only learns in two ways, one by reading, and the other by association with smarter people."-Will Rogers-

A girl who reads is a keeper ;)

Forgive and Forget

People Remember What You Said,
People Remember How You Said It,
People Remember How You Made Them Feel,
People Might (choose to) Forgives,
People Must (choose to) Moves On,
But, People Never Forget Some Moments,
Either Those Moments Are Too Precious,
Too Beautiful To Forget,
Or..
Too Painful To Forget.
Like I Always Said,
Our Brain Is Not A Computer,
That You Could Delete,
The Brain Remembers,
Even When The Heart Forgives!

Speak Wisely, Act Wiser!

I matter!

DEAR READERS
This is for those who are madly in love, searching for love, seeking for the perfect love!
This is for those who are hurt, broken heart, letting go of the only person that makes them happy!
This is for those who has given up on love,
This is for everyone!

NEVER forget who you are in God's own heart.
("No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" -Romans 8:37-39)

NEVER forget what you are in God's own eyes.
("For thus said the LORD of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye" - Zechariah 2:8)

NEVER doubt His love for you.
(“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."- John 3:16)

NEVER compare His perfection to your own imperfection.
("This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him."-Psalm 18:30)

("for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" -Romans 3:23)

NEVER underestimate His power to save you.
("For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."- Jeremiah 29:11)

(But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." -1 Corinthians 15:57)

NEVER tell Him to change or mold you when you are not ready to be changed.
("Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."-James 1:2-4)

(“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.-2 Corinthians 4:8-9”)

NEVER ask Him the price, because you cannot pay Him and He already paid it ALL for you.
("And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus".-Philippians 4:19)

When we understand who we are in Christ,
What we are in Him,
How precious we are in His eyes,
Then we understand that I MATTER to Him,
Therefor my man (or woman) should treat me right,
Love me as Christ loves the church,
and Respect each other,
because..
I MATTER!

Lindsay
