THINK and TONGUE

Food for thought, right? It is such a great reminder for all of us to understand the power of our tongue. The chaos a small tongue could create, the power it brings to a broken heart, a sweet sound, a memory it could create, the war it could started or the peace it could accomplished.

The BIBLE has some great verses regarding tongue, check these verses out:

- Proverbs 21:23 "Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble."

- Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."

- Proverbs 12:18 "There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."

- Psalm 34:13 "Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit."

- Proverbs 15:1 "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

- 1 Peter 3:10 "For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit"

- Proverbs 17:28 "Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent."

- Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits."

- James 3:10 "From the same mouth come blessing and cursing."

- Ecclesiastes 3:7 "A time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;"

- James 3:5 "So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire!

Let us be wise to use our brain and heart. Let's decide what words comes to the mind to stay there and goes straight to the heart. Let's also clean up some junks that do not have the right to stay in our mind or heart. Let's filtered every information before we give them a green light to go out from our mouths and speak words that we will never be able to stop or take it back once it comes out of the mighty mouth.

Remember, a tongue might be small but it has the power to create a peace or war. BIG thing comes in a little package eh?! ;)

Quote of the day

"An archeologist is the best husband any woman can have; the older she gets, the more interested he is in her."
Agatha Christie

The sweetest memory will always be with us as we grow wiser and older, together and forever, til death do us part! Cherish each moment because someday we realize that the little things in life are actually the big, beautiful things life could ever have.
