Test Your Limit

Photo: http://www.bornagainfitness.com

One of the many excuses I have heard is: "I can not do it!"

Can not and will not are two of our very own enemies inside us that limited our abilities to grow and to move forward. We will never know our own strength unless we give it a try and so many times, the first try, second and third might not get us right to the top. Everything has its own process and purposes, including strength, whether it is physically, mentally or spiritually strength. Strength is trained and gained, it is not given or received overnight. It is a journey and process in life, sometimes it is a short ones and many times it is a long one. But one thing for sure is that you will get stronger when you try one day at a time, one foot ahead of the other, one step at a time. A step further is better than a step backward!

What might seemed to be impossible will not be impossible unless you try it, right? Everything seems impossible for those who never try to seek the possibility. A baby will think that walking is impossible, then he tried to walk and succeeded. What seemed to be hard, might not be as hard once you trained yourself to face it.

You are stronger than you think! I used to not being able to do a perfect push up or pull up, now I am able to do any form of push ups and pull up (with some help lol). I used to think that lifting weight is for men who wants huge muscles, but I was so wrong and I am in love with lifting weight now and I could lift heavier weight with squats or on a balance ball, name it! lol!!.

So picture what you want for yourself, set a goal in your mind, get moving and make it happen! A stronger, leaner, healthier, happier, better you is just one step ahead (for starter). I used to see a fitness model and thought, wow she must be crazy to do that. Today, I look at them and I was like "I could do it too with one leg or one arm" ;)

Test yourself and see how far you passed your so called "limitation".

Magnificent Pictures

My obsession!
:)

Aurora picture: Aurora borealis, or northern lights, in Norway

Arctic Shine
Photograph by Max Edin, Your Shot

Earth's most famous light formation hangs over a landscape saturated by the glow of a full moon in Longyearbyen, Norway. The photographer, who recently submitted this image to National Geographic's Your Shot, said it was the most beautiful northern lights display he had ever witnessed.

Referred to as the aurora borealis around the Arctic Circle, the light show also appears in southern polar latitudes, where it's known as the aurora australis. In addition, the naturally occurring phenomenon has been spied on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. (See "Auroras Seen on Uranus For First Time.")

Green light is the most common for Earthly auroras, but blue and red hues also appear from time to time. (Kastalia Medrano).

Far above Africa's Mount Kilimanjaro, the band of the Milky Way cuts through a sky dusted with stars. This recently released photo, a single frame from a time lapse video, was taken near the town of Moshi on Kilimanjaro's lower southern slopes.
The smaller, almost opalescent blur on the left of the frame is the Small Magellanic Cloud-a dwarf galaxy far, far away that's home to hundreds of millions of stars.

Solar particles get bent as they sweep around Earth's magnetic field, as seen in a still from a new NASA planetarium show called Dynamic Earth: Exploring Earth's Climate Engine.

The image shows the full scale of a coronal mass ejection, an eruption of charged particles from the sun's upper atmosphere.

When the particles reach Earth, they can interact with our planet to produce the northern and southern lights. Under the right conditions, CMEs can trigger especially intense solar storms that can damage satellites or cause power outages.

Stellar Nursery

Awash in gritty, pinkish light, this image is the best view to date of the lively stellar nursery known as NGC 6357. The newly released visible-light picture was made by the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope in Chile.
Swaths of color represent glowing dust and gas clouds, while dots of blue and white light show the hot young stars growing inside the nebula.
NGC 6357 is also called the War and Peace Nebula, due to the fantastical shapes of a skull and a dove that seem to appear in infrared images of the cosmic cloud. Located within the constellation Scorpius, the nebula lies about 8,000 light-years from Earth.

"Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable."

Your Body Is The Reflection Of Your Soul

I think that the most beautiful part of ourselves is the soul. The body, however, will reflects the soul, may it be beautiful or not.

What we are on the outside is the product of who we are on the inside.

Everyone and everything has its own beauty, even in its imperfection, we could still find the beauty of it.
I am a big believer of confident is hot, smart is gorgeous, healthy is sexy, humility is sweet, kindness is love.

I also believe in "If you do not like what you see, do something about it" motto.
That goes for your health, body type, knowledge, wisdom, spirit, and soul.
There is nothing wrong about doing something good to make you feel better on the inside and on the outside.

However, so many times we get trapped in our own philosophy.
We tried to keep reminding ourselves that the real beauty is on the inside, yet we screamed and angry at ourselves when we look on the mirror, or when we compare it to anyone that seemed "perfect" and "have it all".
That is not good!

The good news is : it is not too late to make you feel better about yourself, there is always a way when there is a will (a strong will that actually doing it)
The bad news is : giving up, self pity, laziness and denial.

But, no matter how breathtaking you are on the outside,
if your soul is ugly,
people will see it, smell it, notice it, and get sick with it.

People say that the deepest of the soul is mysterious,
yet it reflects so strong on how we live our lives,
how we treat ourselves and others.
I guess it is not that mysterious after all huh? ;)

Your everyday life is your catwalk in motion,
Walk with confidence is good,
Add kindness and wisdom to it,
then you will get a standing ovation from the crowd (may it be your family, friends, co-workers, even stranger)
:)

This post is not about body type,
Its about the soul as the real beauty behind it.
Body represents the "outside"
the way we talk and act.

Picture Of The Day

Does Paris ever *not* look beautiful?!! Sigh!

PARIS YOU ARE ALWAYS IN MY HEART
Paris you are always in my heart
And you shine inside my heart
Just like the rainbow
Paris you are a part of my heart

Who or what is YOUR "Paris" tonight?
Have a wonderful weekend

BEAUTY

Men and women have their own definition of beauty.

Men thinks that beauty lays in perfection of a machine, a great invention of video game, cool cars, amazing gadgets. A perfect goal for soccer or home run like Babe Ruth, a touchdown in football or just a greasy cheesy pizza with pepperoni and sausage, they calls it “beauty.”

Women thinks beauty related to skin, face, make up, dress, clean house, etc. Men sees a supermodel and said “she is hot” and women sees a supermodel and said “she is beautiful” lol.

Its like a totally different visual realization. But there are some things or occasion when both men and women can say “its such a beauty." Just like their own daughters, sunset, great capture of photography, a natural scene like lake or ocean or mountain, etc

What is beauty? People said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Is it just a phrase to make ourselves feels good or is it really proven that way? LOL. I would say both! Sometimes we said things just to make us feel better or feel good about certain things, and sometimes because that is the fact.

Beauty can be anything and about everything.

Beauty, some people said its a blessing and others said its a curse. I don't see beauty as a curse though, its how you see yourself. Its a certain thing that makes it has the value of beauty. Even if you are beautiful and drop dead gorgeous but nobody sees that or says that and you are too blind too see that in you, then beauty has no meaning at all, its just like a pretty mannequin in a store. Its pretty, ts sexy, clothes fits perfectly, make up here and there, people stares at them but they dont have a life within themselves, its dead. Beauty but dead and then one day will be trashed.

Everyone has their own beauty. Either its their eyes, nose, shoulder, belly, lips, eye lashes, legs, hands, hair, skin, nails, voice, heart, brain (list goes on). You just have to discover your own beauty and be proud of it, not hiding it. Some even denied that you have the IT factor of beauty in you. Learn to appreciate your own beauty and if you find something in you that you don't think as a beauty, then work on it to make it such a beauty :)

Nothing cannot be done if you are willing to do the work. What seems impossible for you might not be that impossible once you try it the possible way. Beauty is just a word, the actual meaning of beauty lays on your own heart and eyes.

How you see yourself or others and certain things, then when you totally loving it, can't have enough of it, admiring it, perfectly fine with its imperfection, have confidence in it, want to do more with it, flirt with it, style it, talk about it, see it with your eyes open, and smiling heart,
now that's..
beauty.
