A dog from God

I am more of a dog person than a cat person, but I am an animal lover and I love them. I found this cute pic of a cat and I thought this cat is the real deal LOL

Do you believe that your pet is your mini me? I do, because sometimes I could see a human with their dog and they look the same. Well, let me put it this way, If your dog/cat would have been born as a human, they would look like you and pretty much act like you LOL!

Sometimes I think that if human is as nice as my dog, this world would be a better place. Our pet would try anything for us, do everything we expect them to do. Basically, they try so hard to please us and they love us regarding what we own, who we are or what we look like.

I adopted my dog, Luke, back in 2006. He has been with us ever since he was a puppy and since the first year of our marriage. My husband was an active duty US Navy and he get deployed a lot, work way too much and left me alone all the time. So, a dog would be great, right?!.

First few months was very hard because I need to trained him to do everything. But thank God, Luke is a quick learner and willing to do everything for me. I NEVER train him and give him treat in return, LOL. I know I am "mean" huh?! But, it works though. He would do tricks not for food but just for fun and for me. As he grows older, I started to reward him with treats (I could not be that mean).

He never chewed my furniture, never bite anyone, never had accident in the house..well maybe once when he was sick and we were at work. He will do ANY trick for you and for every trick, I only taught him once then he will get it right away. He was there when I am alone, sad, happy, sick, healthy. He was there even when my own husband was in a war zone. He was with me when none of my family were there (they are in Indonesia). He is my friend, my companion, my dog. He is a dog from God and I will always cherish my days with him.

A bond of love, friendship and loyalty!

We all could use a little lesson (and love) from our pet. Go hug your pet, play with them, walk with them, or simply talk to them. You will be surprise of how much love we get in return from a dog. When I cry, my dog will come to me and put his head on my lap, trying to lick my tears away. That is his way of saying, "I am here for you. I don't know why you are sad, but I can feel your pain. Everything will be all right."

If you hate animal, you might not find this true or moving, because there is no room for them in your heart and that is OK with me. I just hope you understand that they are God's creation and every creation has its purpose. Dog is created as a human companion, friend, guard and helper. God made them that way and it is up to us, human, to understand their purpose, how to teach/train them and how to love them as they should be loved/treated. They would never hurt their owners yet the owners neglect their pets so many times, even kill them. Please be a responsible owner and educate yourself!. They are a living creature, not a doll. They should be treated as a living creature and not as a "thing", who could not feel anything. They understand pain, death, life and love. They are a living creature, keep that in mind the next time you are trying to hurt them, kill them, leave them or eat them :(

Cherish your days with your pets! They will not live forever, but they will always be in your hearts. You will always be their hero, best friend and everything for them.
